8th – 19th January 2018
Wow, what a busy two weeks we have had!
A mysterious egg appeared in our classrooms followed by an email from the equally mystifying Dr. Bertram Montgomery, who requested information about our find. After replying with our own individual emails we decided to set up a camera to catch who (or what) has been visiting our school.
We decided to look further into dragons, reading & singing ‘Puff the Magic Dragon,’ answering questions in full sentences about the text, listening for rhyming strings and writing similes.
In maths we have been partitioning two digit numbers into tens and ones: we’ve enjoyed being number detectives.
‘Rock Steady’ kindly visited the school to perform a live music assembly for us, we had a great time singing along. During our afternoons we continue to enjoy cooking and forest school on Thursdays, using the new apparatus in p.e and carrying out investigations during science. We are also working with fine motor skills, phonics, art, history and handwriting presentation.
