RSHE

To embrace the challenges of creating a happy and successful adult life, pupils need knowledge that will enable them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and relationships. Pupils can also put this knowledge into practice as they develop the ability to make good decisions when facing risks and challenges in their everyday life. Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) lessons are designed to support our pupils to develop our core values of: respect, resilience, empathy and reflection.

At Chilvers Coton Community School our RSHE curriculum follows the key themes as identified by the PSHE association.

The scheme includes the overarching themes of relationships, my body, all about me, keeping safe and looking after myself and people who help me. Safeguarding, SMSC and British values are the golden threads throughout.
