Year 2 SATS
KS1 SATS meeting
A recording of our SATS meeting which we held to explain the end of term assessments for our Year 2 pupils.
Every year at the end of Key Stage One, children in Year 2 have to undertake statutory assessments in English and Maths these are known as SATS. Children will complete A series of assessments in both Reading, Writing and Maths, these assessments will consist of a series of questions which children must answer as well as the work from their day to day learning within the classroom.
Below is a short video which gives a brief overview of the assessments children will complete.
We will be continuing to build upon the children's knowledge and skills to ensure they have all of the things they need to be able to be successful. Please continue to complete the homework tasks sent home at the beginning of ever half term which provides vital support for your children.
