Chilvers Coton Community School and Nursery

Inspiring Excellence Everyday

Our Learning Environment

At our school, we are very lucky to have beautiful surroundings including a huge grass field, a forest school area and two large playgrounds. Our school building is over 110 years old and has survived two World Wars!

The learning environment is extremely important to us as it is considered to be the 'third teacher' and our standards for the physical environment are very high.

Most recently, we have had our outdoor classrooms renovated and we have added a trampoline, digging and sand pit to enable children to have high quality play outside at lunchtimes!

We look after our environment through litter picking, painting equipment and having library monitors to ensure the library is tidy for the next users.
