Chilvers Coton Community School and Nursery

Caring, Sharing and Learning Together

Our Learning Environment

At our school, we are very lucky to have beautiful surroundings including a huge grass field, a forest school area and two large playgrounds. Our school building is 111 years old and has lived through two World Wars!

Most recently, we have had our outdoor classrooms renovated and we have added a sensory garden to enable children to experience plants, flowers as well as growing their own fruit and vegetables.

Our future plans include adding some gym equipment to our Year 1 playground as well as having a makeover at our entrance, including newly painted gates.

We look after our environment through litter picking, painting equipment and having library monitors to ensure the library is tidy for the next users.
